Here is my biography...

My name is Jaime Gorgojo, and I am a 26 years old professional actor. My life has been a great journey. I was born in Madrid, but since I was a child I have lived in different cities including Valencia, Copenhagen, Seattle, Durham, London, Paris or Maastricht.

Growing up in various cities has honed my bilingual acting skills in both English and Spanish, as well as developing expertise in imitating accents. This experience has improved my ability to adapt and has made me a versatile actor with international appeal.

It was always my dream to be a professional actor, but for a long time that dream was merely an unattainable and unrealistic idea. Growing up in a family of doctors who wanted me to be a lawyer, I decided to study Law and Business Administration at the Complutense University of Madrid in 2014. However, I combined my university studies with amateur theatre and debate associations: I could never separate myself from my dream. I soon realised that my passion had always been acting, telling stories by embodying different characters and exposing myself to an audience to move, entertain and show my artistic point of view through this craft.

That's why I decided in 2019 to combine Law and Business Administration with a Diploma in Film, Theatre and TV Acting at the Metrópolis c.e. acting school: that's when it became clear to me that acting was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

Later, in 2020, with the pandemic in the midst, I decided to combine the Master's Degree in Lawyering at the UCM with a degree in Dramatic Arts at Estudio Corazza.

In 2021 and 2022, I combined working at AISGE (the Spanish Intellectual Property Rights Management Entity for actors, directors and dancers) with a degree in Dramatic Arts at Estudio Juan Codina (where I graduated after taking levels II, III and IV Advanced).

In 2023, I received a scholarship to be part of the Agora Joven theatre group at the Teatro Fernán Gómez, where we wrote and acted in a collective play directed by the Guindalera Company. In addition, I managed to capture the attention of numerous news media by creating a TikTok account where I played a fictitious character inspired by the 2011 film ‘Primos’. My performance convinced dozens of journalists that the story I was telling was real, and in just two weeks, the videos accumulated more than 30 million views.

This year I toured nationally with Theatre4schools, where I co-starred in two original Disney musicals: Excalibur and Sleeping Beauty. I have participated in more than 200 performances in theatres, cultural centres and schools all over Spain. In May 2024, I shot my first international series as a protagonist, although I cannot reveal details yet, I am eternally grateful for this opportunity.

This is the third year where I am devoting myself to this challenging vocation, committing myself wholeheartedly to it, with full-time dedication. This dream, which for many may seem imprudent, is not a choice for me: it is a calling, a deep and committed vocation, a dream inherent to me: I cannot think of myself without acting.

My life, so far, has been a journey: sometimes messy, sometimes mistaken. I am still learning to screw up, but the one thing I am positive about is that I am and will be an actor until I die.
